Futile Foundations

The human folly, to create a sense of permanence through architecture and social constructs, is allegorically depicted in these etchings. Using the cosmological analogy for entropy, I am showing there are no absolutes in human endeavors. In cosmology, order will eventually evolve into chaos.  This holds true for everything in the physical world including the eventual decay of the mightiest architecture. Likewise I suggest in the metaphysical realm, human belief systems such as religion, politics and morals will disappear and be replaced. The allegories in the Futile Foundations Series suggest that the ideals of the human condition- to create permanence, will ultimately fail.
